Introduction

The Paediatric course is suitable for anyone who works with children. The course meets the need of Ofsted and is suitable for child minders; Nursery and school staff. It is in line with the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

The course consists of theory learning basic first aid skills and putting these skills into realistic scenarios ensuring a full understanding and to build confidence in dealing with an incident specifically concentrating on children.

Paediatric first aid [2 days]

  • Fractures, Sprains, Dislocations

Assessment

Students will be assessed on a continuous basis and complete a short multiple choice question paper before being certified as competent.

Cost

The cost of the two-day course for a group of up to 12 candidates is £600 when run at your venue. In addition there is a cost of £12 per candidate for certification and manual.

Therefore, for example, the total cost per person on a course with 12 candidates will be £62, with six on a course will be £124
