Introduction
This course is the re-certification of the 3 day First Aid at work course. It should be completed within 3 months prior to expiry of the FAW certification.
However, where it has not been possible to re-qualify in this three month period, HSE will allow extension of the certificate for up to 28 days beyond the expiry date.
This course is run over 2 days and allows for re-certification of First Aid at Work qualified staff.

Please note that candidates attending this course must be in possession of a valid (not out of date by more than 28 days) First Aid at Work certificate.
Assessment
Students are assessed by an independent assessor during the afternoon of day 3 of the course.
Cost
The cost of the refresher is £650 + £20 per candidate up to a maximum of 12, when run at your venue and includes certification and a manual.
Certification is valid for 3 years.
