Introduction
This 1 day course is now recognised by the HSE. As can be seen from the syllabus it covers the primary elements of First Aid. It can be adapted with extra emphasis being placed on certain areas which are relevant to a particular environment.
The course consists of theory learning basic first aid skills and putting these skills into realistic scenarios ensuring a full understanding and to build confidence in dealing with an incident.

Assessment
There is no formal assessment. Students will be assessed on a continuous basis and certified competent.
Cost
The cost of the course is £250 + £10 per candidate up to a maximum of 12, when run at your venue and includes certification and a manual.
Certification is valid for 3 years.
It is strongly recommended by HSE that trained staff attend a half-day update every twelve months.
